White Hills Geological Reserve
White Hills Geological Sediment Reserve – Re-generation Project
White Hills Geological Sediment Reserve is located in white hills below the train line along bobs street and can be accessed from both Lyons street and Powell’s Street, in this reserve you will find two sediment ponds, and a large number of old Chinese mines.
This 15.5 hectare site also features a large number of rock formations and a white hill, there is also approximately 2.5kms of walking tracks with some great spots to view the Bendigo CBD and surrounding landscape.

In a Partnership with Parks Victoria and Matchworks, Our foundation is working in this reserve restoring and improving these tracks for a more positive experience and better way to explore the site and its features, we are also aiming to plant new trees and plants around the site to restore the damaged and scarred old ones.
